The Nashville Connection ( title of album) is comprised of five musicians from the Nashville area:

After writing a couple of verses to “Front Porch Blues”, the golden rule came to John’s mind and he immediately started searching for a female co-writer. He approached Kim Corliss, with whom he had performed at open mic nights and she accepted his offer to co-write “Front Porch Blues”. Kim wrote the second verse and the third verse together. Together, they thought it would sound good as a duet.
Michael had previously worked with John and recorded a few of his songs, and it was a good fit, so John asked Michael to sing the male vocals, and he kindly accepted.
With the team in place, they went to work in the studio, produced a nice result, and sent promotional copies to a few DJ friends. You can now find “Front Porch Blues” on all of the major distribution sites, such as, Amazon, iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, and others. It can also be purchased at johncottonmusic.net.
